Quick Dive

Creative Writing & Publishing

Our creative writing course will introduce children to the amazing world of stories. During the two weeks of this course, children will be introduced to plot development, character development, building strong narratives and interesting stories. Through exciting exercises, fun prompts and engaging lessons, children will get a sneak peak into the fantastical world of writing.

At the end of the course, each child will work upon a short story that will be compiled into a final anthology and published.

Podcasting & Storytelling

Oral communication and storytelling is an important 21st century life skill. And what better way to introduce this than podcasting. Podcasting as a medium focuses entirely on a person’s speech and intonations. In this course, we will work with the children to develop a story and deliver it through a pseudo-podcast. We will focus on their speech, pronunciation, intonations, dialogue delivery and voice modulation.

At the end of the course, each child will work upon a short speech that will be later converted into a podcast.

DIY Science & Innovation

Scientific thinking and approach is a very important skill for young children. The method of experimentation and trial & error helps children learn new things and retain concepts for a longer time. In this course, we will introduce children to the scientific method of fact finding. We will do multiple experiments to reinforce concepts as well as introduce them to various branches of science. Lastly, the course will focus on children’s innovation skills using which they can come up with creative solutions for everyday problems.

At the end of the course, each child will work on a science project that will be displayed in a science fair at school.
